About Jillᐧ
For 22 years, I’ve focused on advancing safer, more equitable campus environments—one institution at a time—through policy and education that support both students and employees. I’m excited to bring my full expertise, energy, and passion to many more organizations, and I’m grateful to my past, current, and future clients as my project list continues to grow.
My leadership/consulting approach involves adhering to policy to prevent liability and to demonstrate integrity and respect for all parties. By maintaining these standards, I help reduce toxic behaviors in business and academic settings. Creating safety and fostering a sense of belonging are core values that drive employee compassion satisfaction, persistence, and success. These values are best cultivated through a combination of transformative training, open dialogue for education, and environments that encourage coexistence, even amidst opposing views.
My identity includes being a wife, a mother, and a proud native of the Waterbury, CT public school system. I am one of five children, a Leo, and love all the seasons that New England offers. In my free time, I am known for my self-care activities: Working on my collection of 1000 piece puzzles, being in nature, and spending time with our family dogs.
Professional Background
With a Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Women’s Studies from Southern Connecticut State University, and Doctorate of Education from New England College, New Hampshire, I have been working in higher education since 2003.
In 2019, I relocated to CT and served as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Quinnipiac University. In this role, I addressed and managed student concerns which come to the attention of the Dean of Students' Office or the CARE Team. I supported students with medical, mental health, socialization, academic and/or behavioral needs that may impact a student’s ability to function successfully at the University, ensuring they receive appropriate and timely interventions and are monitored effectively.
As the former Title IX Coordinator and Civil Rights Officer for Central CT State University, I was responsible for managing complaints, investigations, and reporting on sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual assault, and discrimination cases for both employees and students.
As a current consultant for TNG, I investigate cases regarding Title IX and Civil Rights, while supporting their mission:
Our mission is to enhance the holistic safety and well-being of individuals, schools, and organizations by empowering systems-level solutions to reduce the risk of violence, discrimination, and harm.
